KINGSWOOD SERIES IT'S BACK! 07/08

Right! The season is nearing and the excitement is building! With an AGM to be held within the next short while with many pressing issues to discuss the season is starting too look more and more promising. J Robb and Stinger re-uniting for the 5th season in a row, Spud and Bonas looking to rebuild on the last couple of seasons. With all these class acts returning with another year of experience for another stint at the crease (all be it a series of very short ones for J Robb!) it should going up another notch if that is at all possible.

This season the RCG is being returfed in late september early october. Although this will put the ground out of action for 3 weeks it should be looking a million bucks/100 runs come December. The new turf will be harder wearing which can only be a bonus and should make it a good, hard, consistant and flat batting track, which could help Bonas reach his maiden 100, make Soud confident enouh to play his 1st ever front foot shot, J Robb to make double figures more than twice in a day and keep stings anger levels low due to the odd strangely bouncing ball.

This years big plan is a Sunday session involving many backyard cricketers from various other venues and a few cold beers. So keep up to date on all the happenings in KW!.....of course the video camera will be out at numerous stages as well capture the good, the bad and the ugly!
